Osteopathy can be used to recover from back and other joint pain, as well as muscular and neurological conditions.
Whatever the cause, we are here to support you through the painful episodes, help you to move comfortably and gain confidence and strength in your movement. We look forward to seeing and celebrating with you!
What to expect from Clinic on the Green osteopathy treatments.
Here at Clinic on the Green, our first priority is on your comfort. We will discuss with you what your hopes are from having treatment, and how we can help you to get the best in your journey towards that, and maybe even beyond!
We are guided by professional codes and standards, but far beyond that, we really want to focus on helping you to the fullest life you choose.
We always take a full history of your complaint and medical background and then conduct an assessment of your movements. This will also be based on your goals, both short term and long term.
As such, there may be more than one stage to the treatment plan, and we will create intentions together for what the outcomes can be expected to be.
It is likely that you will be given some exercises to do on your own, and we usually supply these in a picture or video format.
Joint Aches & Pains
Osteopathic treatment can help you to feel less stiff, more flexible and find out what is causing symptoms so we can help prevent them.
Anybody suffering from chronic headaches and/or migraines could benefit from one of our osteopathy treatments.
Ligament & Muscle Pain
Muscles can become painful due to injury, trauma, inflammation or poor posture, which can respond well to osteopathy treatments.
Whether it's lower back pain, middle back pain, or upper back pain, there is good evidence that osteopathy is effective to help.
Back & Neck Pain
Often, problems in the neck stem from the lower spine. Thorough assessments can establish the cause of your neck pain.
Osteopathy can be very effective in opening out areas of the spine to reduce pressure on a nerve, relax tight joints and muscles
